The GTNS races for South Korea are:
- KOREA 50K, April 27th
- SALOMON WTR, Jun 23rd
- GTNS KOREA FINAL, Sep
It is each individual athlete's responsibility to respect the rules and regulations of each race.
RAKING POINTS BREAK DOWN - 1st to 30th :
Runners must participate and finish in at least one out of two qualifying races (Korea 50K and/or Salomon WTR) and reach the top 3 men and women to be invited to the GTNS South Korea national final (To be revealed). The overall ranking will take into account each runner's best results from the 2 qualifying races and the result of the national final.
GTNS South Korea national final (To be revealed), as national final is mandatory to get a ranking and qualify for the GTNS Grand Final (To be revealed) and the national final's points are double.
The GTNS SOUTH KOREA top 2 Men and Women, and the top 1 U23 Men and Women in the overall ranking will receive tickets* for the GTNS Grand Final.
U23 means that the athlete will not turn 23
years old in 2024.
In the event there is a tie :
1- The best place on one of the GTNS South Korea 2024 qualifying race
2- The second place on one of the GTNS South Korea 2024 qualifying race
3- The third place on one of the GTNS South Korea 2024 qualifying race
4- If an athlete beat his/her direct competitor during the GTNS season.
Foreign runners can get points but GTNS Grand Final tickets for the first 2 men and women will be prized to only Korean athletes.
There is only one category : scratch male and scratch female
The first 2 men and women from the GTNS South Korea overall ranking will receive their tickets* to participate in the GTNS Grand Final in Italy 2023.
The Top 3 M & W from the OPEN CATEGORY from the GTNS GRAND FINAL will be invited by the GTS to take part in 3 GTWS 2024 races (Golden Ticket 2024).
The Top 3 M & W from the OPEN CATEGORY from the GTNS GRAND FINAL will be able to win prize money if they finish in the TOP 3 of the OPEN CATEGORY overall:
· 1st = €1,500 + Golden Ticket 2024
· 2nd = €1,000 + Golden Ticket 2024
· 3rd = €500 + Golden Ticket 2024
The Top 3 GTNS Team Ranking from the GTNS GRAND FINAL will have access to financial bonuses to be shared between team members:
· 1st TEAM = €3,000
· 2nd TEAM= €2,400
· 3rd TEAM= €1,800
* Ticket : [race bib] + [accommodation & meals for 7 days] + [transport in the maximum sum specified up to €1,500 from Asia]. Financial support will be provided to cover transport costs.
Any competitor expressly waives the right to the image during the GOLDEN TRAIL NATIONAL SERIES 2023, as he/she renounces all recourse against the organizer and the authorized partners for the use made of his/her image.
